Diana Machado brings over 15 years of accounting and tax experience to her role as Director of Tax and Senior Accountant at CWM Tax Advisors. Known for her attention to detail and dedication to client success, Diana has been an integral part of our team for more than five years, providing expert guidance to individuals, businesses, partnerships, trusts, and estates.
Originally from Colombia, Diana earned her Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Universidad Santiago de Cali. She began her career in audit, gaining experience across industries such as banking and hospitality, and working with three of the Big Four accounting firms—PwC, Deloitte, and KPMG. Her background gives her a strong foundation in GAAP, IFRS, and Sarbanes-Oxley standards.
Diana’s expertise covers a wide range of tax preparation services, including complex returns and compliance for both individuals and business entities. She specializes in QuickBooks and full-charge accounting services such as payroll processing, state and federal reporting, and financial statement preparation and review. She works closely with business owners to streamline their accounting processes and ensure accuracy in their financials.
Recently, Diana earned her Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses, which allows her to collaborate more closely with our financial planning partners. However, her primary focus at CWM Tax Advisors remains helping clients navigate their tax and accounting needs with care, clarity, and confidence.
Diana is known for her warm personality, clear communication, and client-first approach. She lives on the Treasure Coast with her daughter Maria and is proud to serve the local community she calls home
